This private beach house in New Jersey was conceived as a retreat from the pace and pressure of city life, designed to support informal living, social interaction and seamless indoor–outdoor use.

At the heart of the project lies a large, highly functional kitchen directly connected to the pool area. Conceived as the main gathering space of the house, the kitchen was designed to meet high functional standards while maintaining a contemporary and understated aesthetic. Layout, materials and equipment were selected to support intensive use during extended stays, balancing performance, durability and visual clarity.

The outdoor areas were developed as a natural extension of the interior spaces, featuring lounge settings and seating areas designed for relaxation and social moments throughout the day. Particular attention was given to the continuity between indoor and outdoor environments, ensuring a cohesive experience across all living areas.

Amar was involved in both the concept development and the procurement process, coordinating furniture, finishes and equipment to ensure consistency with the project vision while maintaining strict control over budget and execution. The result is a residential environment where functionality, comfort and contemporary design converge to create a calm and efficient coastal retreat.
